Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

This policy explains how Devube Limited handles your personal data when you use Talorr.

1. Who we are

Talorr (“Talorr”, “we”, “us”) is a product operated by Devube Limited, a company registered in England and Wales and based in London, United Kingdom. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@talorr.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash), or the profile details shared by a third-party sign-in provider (Google, GitHub, LinkedIn).
  • Resume & profile content: the experience, skills, education, job descriptions, and other content you add to build and tailor your resumes.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the app, such as features used and AI requests, to operate and improve the service.
  • Payment data: if you subscribe to Talorr+, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; we keep a customer and subscription reference to manage your plan.
  • Cookies: an essential authentication cookie to keep you signed in. See section 7.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the Talorr service.
  • To generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and analysis you request.
  • To process subscriptions, billing, and send service emails.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the features you sign up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve and secure the service, where not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — where you provide it, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data by law.

5. AI processing

To power tailoring, editing, and analysis, the relevant content you submit is sent to our AI provider, Google (Gemini), solely to generate the output you request. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your personal resume content to train our own models.

6. Sharing & service providers

We share data only with service providers (“processors”) that help us run Talorr, under appropriate agreements:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Google (Gemini) — AI generation of resume content.
  • Hosting & email providers — to operate the application and send transactional emails.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you authenticated. Without it, you could not stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete resumes at any time, and you may request deletion of your account, after which we delete or anonymise your data except where we must retain it (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@talorr.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

12. Children

Talorr is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
